A bag that truly feels like it "drapes" around you.

Among MEISENNE's bags, the Mini Boston allows you to enjoy the patterns most fully. When the design of Isesaki Meisen, where geometric and natural motifs intersect, spreads across the surface of the Boston bag, you'll understand what it means for something to truly "drape."

Although it has "Mini" in its name, it's the perfect size to comfortably hold everything you need for a day out, such as a wallet, smartphone, keys, and pouch. And surprisingly, it's precisely this size that allows it to elegantly blend into any situation.

Casual with jeans. Formal with a matching set. Even placed next to a party dress, it has an undeniable presence. From daily life to special occasions, the versatility that allows it to complete any look is the true essence of the Mini Boston.

With a genuine leather handle and shoulder strap, it can be carried by hand or on the shoulder. MEISENNE's dedication is evident in every detail, right down to each piece of hardware.

This bag features a design that suits both Western and traditional Japanese clothing.
It's a small yet firm declaration of "Today, I choose this" – adding it to your daily attire.

<About Isesaki Meisen>
A silk textile that flourished in Isesaki City, Gunma Prefecture, from the Taisho to early Showa periods.
The greatest charm of Isesaki Meisen's patterns lies in their boldness. Geometric patterns and natural motifs like flowers and grasses are freely combined, dyed with unusually vibrant colors for kimonos of that era. And the unique "blurring" and "fluctuation" derived from the pre-dyeing technique called kasuri – an expression where outlines are slightly softened and colors smoothly blend – creates a soft depth not found in other kimonos.

More individuality than formality. More freedom than rules. Meisen was a fabric whose patterns embodied such a spirit. Just as women of that time unhesitatingly chose its colors and patterns, MEISENNE inherits that aesthetic sensibility into modern forms.

<Commitment to Jacquard Fabric Development>
Compared to ordinary jacquard fabrics, ours are woven more robustly with several times the number of warp and weft threads.
We carefully select threads to reproduce the luster and presence of Isesaki Meisen.
