A small statement of will that fits in the palm of your hand.
The moment the modern clasp, like a coin purse, snaps open. The sound of this bag is simply adorable.
While compact, the Benry Clasp Bag features a bold and striking pattern spread across its entire surface, adding a story to your outfit just by holding it.
The fabric is a textile reborn with modern weaving techniques, digitally archiving designs from Isesaki Meisen. It harnesses the "blurring and wavering" inherent in Meisen's kasuri. The unique pattern combines auspicious Japanese tortoiseshell with glamorous roses.
By pairing the fabric not just with itself, but with genuine leather, it adds a touch of elegance without being overly casual.
This bag's design is suitable for both Western and Japanese attire.
"Today, I choose this" — a small, yet firm statement of will, incorporated into your daily fashion.

The greatest charm of Isesaki Meisen patterns lies in their boldness. Geometric patterns were freely combined with natural motifs like flowers and grasses, and dyed with exceptionally vivid colors for kimonos of that era. Furthermore, the unique "blurring" and "wavering" derived from the pre-dyed kasuri technique—where outlines are slightly softened and colors blend smoothly—creates a gentle depth not found in other kimonos.
Individuality over formality. Freedom over rules. Meisen was a fabric imbued with such a spirit in its patterns. Just as women of that time unhesitatingly chose its colors and patterns, MEISENNE inherits that aesthetic sensibility in a contemporary form.
Woven robustly with several times more threads than regular jacquard fabric.
Threads are selected to bring out the luster and presence of Isesaki Meisen.

It is a geometric pattern composed of tightly arranged regular hexagons. Named "Kikko" (tortoiseshell) because of its resemblance to a turtle's shell, it is one of Japan's traditional motifs, used in kimonos and furnishings for over 1,000 years.
The hexagon is one of the most stable shapes, seen in nature in honeycombs and snowflakes. For this reason, it has long been cherished as an auspicious motif symbolizing "longevity, prosperity, and good fortune."
The Kikko pattern textile used in this bag reinterprets the bold color palette and geometric aesthetics of Isesaki Meisen into a modern design.
